During the March Board of Education meeting, Beverly Schewe, Quality Assurance Director, along with teachers, Jennifer Demmith, Ronda Pedersen, Jaime Carviou, Tara Poquette and Rebecca Brink shared with the board the process of selecting the District's new Kindergarten through 5th grade math curriculum to be implemented during the 2022-23 academic year. The program selected by the District was Illustrative Mathematics and is a problem-based curriculum. The program is aimed to develop learning communities within the classroom and allows students to apply math concepts through a coherent progression.
