October's Spotlight On Learning highlighted the District's 5-12 Technology Education Department. Students, Marcus C. and Lexy W., former student, Ethan W., District Tech Ed Teachers, Adam Trebel, Eric Cooley, Matt Marotz, Josh Greetan along with Tech Ed Transition Facilitator, Tom Karban, shared how the curriculum has allowed students to learn technical skills to deepen their knowledge within a multitude of trades, while grounding their learning in hands on experiences. The team also highlighted the number of transcribed courses that are available to students through the District at no cost. The student speakers described the impact these courses made in their career path decisions and how the courses have prepared them for college or careers post-high school!
