Urban Forestry Program Workers
Five students (Mason H., Ava D., Anika B., Sherry W. and Matti R.) from three different science classes worked with the City of Marinette Forester, Todd Lapacz, in planting trees as part of an Urban Forestry program grant. The grant, from American Transmission Company (ATC), required the City of Marinette and Marinette High School students to help storm water retention in urban areas by planting trees that will not interfere with power lines. Students will return in two weeks to complete the landscaping project.
