During the Board of Education meeting on January 17th, 1st Grade Teacher, Elizabeth Walters and Math Quality Assurance Specialist, Ronda Pedersen, along with students Rio, Aubry, Harry and Owen, demonstrated how they are learning to understand math concepts through recognition of patterns in numbers.
Students demonstrated and shared how they build their understanding of more and less by viewing visual representations, which allow them to see and compare the difference.
