The Marinette School District begins enrollment for 4-year-old (4K) and 5-year-old (5K) kindergarten on February 7, 2022. If you have an eligible child in your household, we welcome your enrollment! Children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2022 are eligible for 4K and children who are 5 years old on or before September 1, 2022 are eligible for the 5K program.
You are also invited to Marinette’s 4K and 5K Preview Night Open House. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend with their child to learn about the experiences Marinette School District provides to all of our youngest learners. To make it a convenient one-stop evening you will learn about what is taught and the services available to students and families, plus enroll your child that night, we will have laptops available to use!
What: 4K and 5K Preview Night Open House
When: March 3, 5-6:30 p.m.
Where: Sunrise Early Learning Center, 115 Hancock Street, Marinette, WI
Please Note: Beginning August 2022, students in 4K, 5K and 1st grade, plus identified early childhood students will attend Marinette Primary School at 1520 Mott Street, Marinette, WI 54143 (the current Merryman Elementary school).
The Marinette Primary School will be the new name for the renovated and expanded Merryman Elementary School. However, because that location is under construction, we will continue to host the Preview Night at Sunrise Learning Center this year only.
