Rightsizing Project

Marinette School District's $30.9 million referendum proposal was passed by voters during the November 3, 2020 election. The plan will rightsize the district by consolidating operations from six buildings to four, allowing the district to operate more efficiently and continue to offer an excellent educational program. The plan calls for building additions at Merryman and Park Elementary Schools, and capital improvements at Marinette Middle and High Schools.

Since the referendum has passed, the district has been working closely with Somerville Architects and CD Smith throughout the design phase of the Rightsizing Project to finalize the design concepts of the two elementary buildings.
